MONTEREY
PINE
The Monterey Pine can withstand
20 - 30 degree temperatures and does best where summers are cool.
They grow very fast, 6’ within 4 - 5 years and up to 50’ in 12
years, 80 - 100’ at maturity. They have a shallow root system and
are subject to toppling in heavy winds. While the tree is in the
pot, do not allow the soil to dry out. Keep moist by watering daily.
Water enough for drainage through bottom drain holes.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
Monterey Pines are not intended to be
houseplants. They need to be moved to an outside location as soon as
the holidays are completed.
